Although language is probably the most important tool we have to connect with others, especially as teachers, we are sometimes not aware of the power of the words we choose.
In this workshop, we’ll examine how the words we use with students, family and friends affects our relationships. How can we ask for what we want in ways that help us get it? How can be disagree with someone and still stay in connection with self and the other person? What does it sound like to speak from the concept of satya, truth? How do we deal with conflicts with family, students, at work?
