Experiential Anatomy Video Shoot

  • 445 Summit Road Watsonville, CA, 95076 United States (map)

Welcome behind the scenes.

Join us for a retreat weekend filled with yoga anatomy, laughter, and creative film production.

This is your opportunity to be featured in the upcoming Experiential Anatomy digital course taught by Judith Hanson Lasater and Mary Richards.

Pay for your room and board at the Mount Madonna Center and receive a free enrollment when the digital course launches (estimated $500 value.)

The focus is movement literacy. Produced by Lizzie Lasater, this digital course will change the way you practice and teach yoga.

Let the learning adventure begin!

I'm booking my flight, what is the exact weekend schedule?

Our first event is dinner: Friday, June 2, from 5:30-6:30pm.

Please make sure you arrive at Mount Madonna for our group orientation meeting and grounding arrival practice: Friday, June 2, at 7pm.

On Sunday, we will film until 5pm.

Can I share a ride to/from Mount Madonna?

Carpooling is cool! If you're driving to the retreat center with empty seats in your car, please consider offering another student a ride. Here's a spreadsheet to share your information.

Do I need to bring any props?

Not for the shoot; Mount Madonna is fully stocked. If you want to practice in your room, please bring your personal mat etc.

What should I wear for the video shoot?

We do not expect you to buy anything new.

Of the clothes in your closet, please bring four outfits you feel comfortable wearing for practice or teaching yoga.

Please minimize or eliminate:

  • Bright or neon colors
  • Black
  • Dizzying patterns
  • Large text or logos
  • Distractingly sexy cuts

For those of you who think visually, here are the color palettes we will be wearing:
